However I think Linda Colley's use of statistics might be a bit shaky. London does not have a non-white majority. The 2011 Census told us London's resident population was 8.17 million of whom 3.3 million were non-white.
It is possible of course that two million or so non-whites have surged into London since 2011 - that would not surprise me at all given the open borders we still seem to have.
