The Conservatives are by far the most formidable machine

Latest YouGov poll: Conservatives 32%; Labour 44%; LibDem 10%; UKIP 8%; LAB 12% lead returns.

Mutterings of dissent in the Conservative Party, although the Guardian reports:  "One prominent backbencher said: David Cameron will lead us into the next election. These people are somewhat deluded. What is their problem?"

If you look objectively at the parties, the Conservatives are by far the most formidable machine - in terms of numbers, quality (training and motivation), discipline, and organisation.  I cannot comment on money, but I do not think it is an issue.  And in terms of leadership Grant Shapps is doing an excellent job.
