I think it is a mistake to look at the elections in France and Greece and conclude that there is a pan-European rejection of "austerity".

The United Kingdom is not France or Greece.  What happened there is not likely to happen here.  For instance, during the 1920s and 1930s fascism was seen throughout Europe as a solution to the economic depression, but fascism did not happen here and could not happen here (the political "constitution" precludes it).

Not for the first time "keep calm and carry on" is the most likely course for the United Kingdom.
