Listening to Eddie Mair on PM (BBC Radio 4) reading out a seemingly endless list of spoof invoices "created" by Denis MacShane for computer equipment.
Surely this amounts to a fraud?
The fake expenses claimed would presumably have been listed on his tax return and therefore HMRC should be investigating?
Denis MacShane posed for years as a champion of the working class, but if any genuine member of the working class had worked this fiddle the authorities would be pulling them to pieces.
