On the whole I think I agree with Chapman Pincher that the security services would be justified in shooting Edward Snowden  http://www.theguardian.com/media/2014/apr/14/guardian-washington-post-pulitzer-nsa-revelations (and Glenn Greenwald, David Miranda and anyone else who gets in the way).
