The rushing wind made you feel cold

Above:  close to the highest point in the county.  Cold fresh wind that never seems to stop.  Exhilerating views wherever you look.

Above:  no-one was about.  No cars on the roads.  The only other people I saw were this wedding party, driving along in the middle of nowhere.

Above:  from the evidence of the flowers this was the church where the couple had just got married.  Again no-one was about.  Despite the hot sun, the rushing wind made you feel cold.

Above:  inside were several of these gigantic pre-Raphaelite paintings.  The figures are life-size.  The thickness of the walls excluded all sound of the wind, so that the interior of the building was absolutely silent.
