What he is describing is a lack of motivation

Lord Heseltine condemns British workers as "lazy" and other celebrities rush agree:  http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/07/01/brits-lazy-lord-heseltine-five-more-people_n_5546757.html

Heseltine is of course an obnoxious bully, a two-faced traitor, someone who is always and on all occasions out for himself.

But is it possible there is something in what he says?

What he is describing is a lack of motivation.

Which leads to the question:  why should British workers be less motivated than American workers or German workers?

The clue is in Heseltine's use of the word "British".  Being British is failing to motivate people in the same way that being American or being German motivates the inhabitants of the American or German states.  We know that large numbers of Americans are ethnically of British origin, so we can discount any suggestion of innate laziness as an attribute of some supposed genetic difference.

Therefore we must ask what is it about the United Kingdom as a national state that is failing to motivate its workers?

The answer is obvious.

Mass immigration pushed through against the will of the majority; an over-mighty EU smothering British identity; a selfish and uncaring elite (amongst whom we must number Michael Heseltine) usurping democratic institutions and treating them as hereditary fiefdoms.

Who would be motivated to work to advance the interests of such a shower of shit?

Note on the Heseltines:

It is curious that Michael Heseltine should call British workers lazy when his wife admitted that their own children have also been called (in school reports) “lazy and careless”,

Of course, the Heseltines are rich enough to be able to afford fancy doctors who can explain away their children's laziness as dyslexia or some other medical excuse.

But you would think that Michael Heseltine would be a bit more sensitive before voicing his chav-hate condemnation of others as lazy.
