Jeremy Hunt on the Today programme

Interesting interview with Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt on the Today programme this morning. Discussing the national provision of minimum bandwidth, it seemed as if the government sees the internet eventually replacing television and radio as the primary way in which people access programmes. It's obvious once you think about it. It would also be a very subtle way of dealing with Rupert Murdoch's extortionate Sky subscription packages as presumably you would just pay programme by programme (the BBC programmes remaining free of course).
