Isabel Hardman in the Spectator contributing to the crisis of masculinity discussion

Article by Isabel Hardman in the Spectator contributing to the crisis of masculinity discussion:  http://www.spectator.co.uk/features/9197481/the-descent-of-man/

Given that the teaching profession has become a "velvet ghetto" with most teachers now women, is there any correlation between the feminisation of the teaching profession and fall in standards for boys?  Is it possible that the teaching profession is, perhaps unconsciously, discriminating against boys and in favour of girls?  has the teaching profession become institutionally sexist?
