A quiet exercise in asset-stripping

As Royal Mail is under the spotlight at the moment, perhaps it would be interesting to look at the sell-off of prestige post office properties (stuffing the counters into the back of local shops as a compensation).

There is a quiet exercise in asset-stripping going on.

Did Vince Cable insist that if Royal Mail property was sold off a proportion of the sale would be returned to the taxpayer?
