European Court of Human Rights

The difficulty with the European Court of Human Rights (sic) is that it is yet another institution that has become corrupted - taken over by a self-serving nomenkatura and no longer responding to the democratic will of the people it is supposed to serve and entirely uninterested in the people it is supposed to serve (Hoffman: "unable to resist the temptation to aggrandise its jurisdiction and to impose uniform rules on Member States. It considers itself the equivalent of the Supreme Court of the United States, laying down a federal law of Europe").

Thank goodness Theresa May has seen this organisation for what it is.

Thank goodness Chris Grayling is proposing a way out of this dreadful mess.

Update:  and here you have John Prescott self-identifying as a member of the nomenklatura that "oversees" the European Court of Human Rights (sic).  You can vote these people out of power and yet somehow they pop up again, still in power.  And no doubt his politico son will be agitating to take over the Prescott family sinecures.
