Understanding the B demographic 3

The older generations are portrayed in terms of "struggle" (a rather exaggerated struggle one thinks) and it is possible that the younger age groups feel crushed by continual reminders of what their parents had to "fight" for.

There is no question that the various historical myths are unreconcilable - the history myth of the B demographic, the history myth of the wider minority community, and the orthodox history myth of mainstream national society.

Three elements are recurring in the B demographic - poor educational achievement, poisonous inter-generational relationships, irresponsible attitudes to parenting.

The B demographic is:  male, age groups 18-25 and 26-34 (and possibly 35-44 but this is to be confirmed); socio-economic groups C2, D, E; geographic location urban, particularly inner city.
